TRIFECTA

BOLD RESTAURANT DESIGN/BUILD

Reworks was tapped by Ken Forkish  to envision and create his new restaurant.  The particular challenge was to seamlessly integrate a bakery, restaurant and bar.  The tenant space was an empty shell, but with a beautiful sand-blasted wood ceiling supported on prodigious wood girders.

The result, a mere fourteen weeks later, is Trifecta: Sophisticated, with a New York City bistro feel, but at the same time comfortable and cozy, infused with the aroma of baking bread. The interior is rich in the woods and metals that are indicative of Pacific Northwest style, including repurposed clear cedar and raw barn wood cladding.  A steel-framed window system is both a divider between bakery and bar as well as an historic reference to the factory windows of the building’s era.
